Neuere InstallShields

Hi Leute,
ich habe eine CVS Version vom 1. März 2004 und habe noch eine Frage.
Ich habe point2play und die binaries jetzt gelöscht weil ich eigentlich nur noch die neue CVS nehmen wollte. Nun wollte ich Vice City und Max Payne 2 installieren. Nur bei den neueren InstallShields, die brechen immer ab, beim ersten Ladebildschirm, nur noch zwei Striche müssten es sein, und dann geht nix mehr. Keine Fehlermeldung. Was mache ich da Falsch? Neukompiliert hab ich schon einige male!!

warte noch ein paar tage dann findest du die installer für max2 und evtl. vc hier

Na ja, aber eigentlich müsste es doch ohne Installer laufen, hat es mit point2play doch auch? Und fast alle hier haben soweit ich das sehe auch geschafft? Funkt mit älteren InstallShield s doch auch, er installiert es ja nichtmal:( ...

Mal ne frage zu max payne 2

Wie is die perfomance ein kumpel hat gemeint er kans unter win mit
800 mhz
700 sdram
und ner geforce 2 (bei grafikkarte bin ich mir net sicher)

ich hab ein so änliches sys sprich 100 mhz mehr
würde max payne 2 da noch laufen?

640x480x16 800x600x16, dürfte es eigentlich noch laufen, sogar bestimmt relativ gut... kA...

Da läufts 1024x768x32, 1280x1024x16 ganz flüssig!!

Wie zur Hoelle hast du das Ding installieren koennen? Bei mir hat der erste Link funktioniert, Datei gezogen und nun folgendes: (ich hatte mir das gebrannt, daher der "fixme:cdrom"-Kram am Anfang)

Ich hab in der Zwischenzeit mal mein winex gekickt und stattdessen dieses (http://ting.homeunix.org/cvs_wine/GetWineXscripts.html) script benutzt, was einen sehr guten Eindruck macht und vorallem eine vollstaendigere config von Anfang an hergibt. Wie dem auch sei, ich erhalte also folgende (Fehler-) Meldungen beim Versuch, DCOM98 zu installieren:

Nur woher zur Hoelle krieg ich nun die Dateien, die er da oben im output nicht findet?

Ehm, ich musste Linux tatsächlich neu installieren... Es funkt nicht mehr, ehr kann eine OCX nichtmehr registrieren, sonst noch Ideen, wie das funktionieren könnte mit den InstallShields?
