.:RH9:. (mal wieder) Samba + Umlaute

hallo,

folgendes Problem:
ich kann über Samba meine Umlaute auf Windows nicht darstellen bzw. kann ich diese auch nicht von linux aus lesen bzw. andern(gesperrt).

ich habe schon alles probiert:
- gemounted mit iocharset=utf8 , iocharset=iso8859-1 , iocharset=iso8859-15
- die fstab wie oben angepasst
- die smb.conf mit character set = iocharset=iso8859-1 , iocharset=iso8859-15 oder iocharset=utf8 gespickt!
- client code page = 850 oder 473 hatte ich auch schon

hat alles nicht geholfen!!!
habt ihr noch ideen? kann es auf irgendeine weise mit mein i18n zusammenhängen?
die sieht wie folgt aus:

LANG="de_DE.UTF-8"
SUPPORTED="de_DE.UTF-8:de_DE:de"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"

bitte um hilfe -> weiss echt nicht mehr weiter!

ist zwar nicht die schönste Lösung aber mach mal das UTF-8 bei LANG weg.

wobei mir auffiel ISO ist großgeschrieben k.a ob das egal ist

meine samba auf redhat war 2.2.8 original ist glaube ich
