Sonic-Rainbow is a graphical multi-media player for Linux systems. It provides an Easy to Use complete GUI interface that will run on most Linux based Window Managers such as KDE, ICEWM, XFCE, GNOME etc.... It can be downloaded in binary and source form with pre-compiled Mandrake 9.0 rpm's available for download.
Beta 0.3.4 has added the ability to take files as command line arguments. Sonic-Rainbow can now be associated with file types in file managers such that if you click on an Ogg, Wav, Mp3 or Sonic-Rainbow playlist it will execute Sonic-Rainbow and the associated file. Playlists need to have been created with this version of Sonic-Rainbow or have a first line of Sonic-Rainbow Playlist added to the file. Several Bugs have been fixed.
