Die Sacred Demo läuft bei mir unter WineX einwandfrei, nur hängt er manchmal und die Festplatte rechnet wie dumm, dann darf ich den rechner resetten, es geht nix mehr.
Hat jemand das Spiel ohne diesen Fehler hinbekommen? Oder weiß jemand woran das liegt?

Diesen fehler haste sogar unter Windooffff das liegt wohl an der Demo da es nur eine frühe forab version ist hoffe das Spiel läuft besser -lol-
Welche WineX Version verwendest Du?
Ich habe 3.2.1 und Point2Play 1.2 und die installation bricht mit einer "Access Violation at Adress 0040C586....." ab. 8(
So hab die Demo jetzt in VMware installiert und den Sacred Ordner ins winex Verzeichnis kopiert...es kommt kurz der Ladebildschirm dann stürzt Sacred ab.
Ach....ich würd sooo gern die Demo testen :(
WineX 3.2.1 damit gehts mitlerweile problemlos.

Das ging mir auch so.Ich geh dann mal die Demo suchen.

Die demo gibts soweit ich weiss nur auf der aktuellen Gamestar. ist ne exclusiv Demo, aber vllt taucht sie ja bald noch irgendwo im Internet auf

Also installieren muss ich es per wine
ausführen per winex bzw cvswinex. Aber leider kommt da nur so ein menu wo er lädt (balken der bewegt juhu) aber dann bricht er ab. Gehts bei jemandem?
Wie gesagt, bei mir gehts mitlerweile problemlos mit WineX 3.2.1 :)
also wenn ich den Installiert mit WineX ausführe kommt:

Warum funktioniert das bei mir nicht??
Mit Wine (20040121) bekomme ich bei der Installation die Meldung "Except EAccessViolation in Module is F0203.tmp at 41233-- blablabla".
ich habs mit wine20031212 installiert, da gehts. Wine20031212 hab ich aus den sourcen selber kompiliert.

Macht doch nich son Stress, Jungs!
Bemüht doch den M$-Sklaven. Dann rüberkopieren und mittels "winex3 Sacred-demo.exe" im Sacred-Verzeichnis starten. Läuft!:cool:

Geht nich ... hab keinen M$-Sklaven .... zum Glück :D . Aber hab leider das selbe Problem wie Cenobite .... mit wine 20031212 und 20040121 :(
Jo, beim mir gehts bis heute nicht 8( mit allen Versionen durchprobiert und auch mit Windows-Vmware bzw Wine installiert/kopiert. Funktionieren tuts aber nicht.
Jo bei mir auch nich .... was ham wir nur verbrochen??? :D

Selber Fehler wie bei mir. M$-Sklaven bemüht, läuft.
Hmmm habs nun nochmal probiert....
In VMware installiert, dann nach /tmp kopiert.
Nach dem Start sehe ich den Ladebildschirm....er lädt fertig dann wird alles schwarz und das ganze hängt sich auf.
Wär toll wenn Du eine Lösung wüsstest 8)

also mit dem vorletzten wine konnt ich jetzt doch den installer starten, allerdinngs nach dem ersten ladebalken schliesst der die Applikation.
Habs dann aber schließlich mit wineX CVS installiert gekriegt, es startet auch, lädt zuende bis da "READY" steht nur dann gehts nicht weiter
/e: habs nochma probiert, jetzt gehts nach READY weiter, man hört die Game Musik, aber alles schwarz und kann nix machen. Kommt da nen intro oder video oder das Game-Menü normalerweise?

Wenn ich SacredDemo.exe mit wine 20031212 starte sagt er mir, dass er ne andere windowsversion für das program haben will.
Dann hab ich mir 20040121 gezogen, frisch kompiliert und da krieg ich sofort nach starten des Installers die Meldung "Exeption EAccesViolation in module is-8K3MF.tmp at 4132555D. Acces violation at address 41726779. Read of addres 00000000."
Mit wineX 3.2.1 bin gehts auch net (ähnliche fehlermeldung wie wine 20040121).
Jetzt zieh ich mir grade winex cvs und versuchs damit nochmal ....

Mit winex 3.2.1. und wine 20040121 hat ich die selbe Meldung wie du.
Mit winex CVS sollte es klappen (ging bei mir) oder vllt mit 20031212 (bei mir nicht)
wie gesagt hab das Problem das der Bildschirm nach rEADY schwarz wird.
Will der vllt nen Video abspielen was er nicht kann?

gemacht. Denk ma das ist immer das aktuellste cvs.
Weil 3.2 und 3.2.1 sind ja afaik stable.
Wie siehts aus Mr.Floppy und Ethan....funktioniert Sacred bei euch schon?
Bei mir gehts leider immer noch nicht.

wenn es funtzen würde wäre es geil
dann würde die FUll laufen und dann gäbe es schon wieder ein game wofür man kein win booten muss =)
Also ich habs heute mal von nem Kumpel unter win installieren lassen und es mir dann von ihm gezogen.
Wenn ichs dann mit winex 3.2.1 (cvs) starte sehe ich den ladebildschirm... nur leider bewegt sich da nix.
Mit Winex 3.2.1 (bin) bewegt sich der ladebalken, aber wenn er dann voll is krieg ich nen schwarzes bild und nix weiter passiert...
