Silent Hill 2 läuft mit WineX (mit kleinen Macken)

Howdy,

ich habe gerade mal versucht Silent Hill2 mit WineX zu starten und nach einiger fummelei läuft es auch. Ich habe nur keinen Text im Spiel, weder in den Menüs noch im Spiel selbst (Inventar, Untertitel usw.).

Außerdem scheint der Sound das ganze Spiel mächtig träge zu machen. Ich weiß nicht ob es an meinen Einstellungen liegt, oder ob Silent Hill 2 noch bei keinem unter Linux richtig lief!
Also falls schon wer Erfahrungen mit Silent Hill 2 (oder 3) unter Linux hat immer schön posten;)

genauer erklären ist leichter gesagt als getan, da ich eigentlich kaum Ahnung von Wine habe;) Erstmal hab ich SH2 unter Win installiert, dann musste ich ein paarmal umbooten um die richtige Konfiguration des Spieles rauszufriemeln (läuft nicht mit allen, zumindest bei mir nicht). Unter Windows auch unbedingt das Spiel einmal starten und am Anfang speichern damit man unter Linux auf "Weiter" im Menü klicken kann!! Muss man leider blind machen, da die Schrift fehlt (2 von Oben, hört man am Ton)!

Hier ist meine "settings.ini" von SH2:

Mit anderen Settings stürzt das Spiel bei mir ab. ACHTUNG, sobald SH2 einmal abgestürzt ist, wird die settings.ini wieder zurückgesetzt. Also am besten eine Sicherung der settings.ini irgendwo ablegen.

Da ich leider nicht weiß wie ich hier eine Datei ablegen kann (brauch ich sicher webspace für oder?) füge ich die "config" von Wine am Ende noch an, ist ziemlich lang:(

Wie gesagt, der Ton stottert bei mir mächtig, die Videos ruckeln leicht, und ich habe keine Schrift im gesamten Spiel!!

Vielleicht läuft es bei Dir ja besser. Ich habe eine nicht mehr aktuelle CVS-Version von WineX!! Ich werde es die Tage mal mit der aktuellsten versuchen.

Ich habe gerade eben die neueste CVS-Version von WineX installiert doch leider ohne Ergebnis. Es ist alles genau so wie vorher. Ich hoffe Du hast mehr Glück:D
