Hi,

44.1 kHz MP3s zu schnell, 48 kHz gehen wunderbar? Dann schaut mal auf http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php?page=via8233

Kurzum, dem via82xx Modul beim laden noch einen Parameter übergeben. Zum Beispiel in Gentoo die /etc/modules.d/alsa modifizieren:

alias snd-card-0 snd-via82xx
options snd-via82xx dxs_support=4

Nach einem modules-update und erneutem Laden des Treibers noch mal den Ton checken.

* 0 - the default value; set 48000 Hz only mode in most cases, except on some known motherboards (which are in the whitelist).
* 1 - enable full DXS support (at any supported sample rate).

* 3 - use DXS at 48000 Hz only.

So, if you have problems with snd-via82xx, you can try to use dxs_support:

* First try 'dxs_support=1'. Check the sound quality (both with 44100 Hz and 48000 Hz material).

* If none of these options give an acceptable result, you can try to disable DXS support completely using 'dxs_support=2';
then you will need to use software mixing to play several sounds simultaneously."

Bei einem ASRock K7VM2 klappt auch die '4' am besten. Wenn man keine Probleme hat, dann bracht man nix zu ändern. Aber, wie oben erwähnt, wenn Euer Mobo nicht in der "Whitelist" ist, kann es mit dem Defaultwert '1' Probleme geben.
