Archiv verlassen und diese Seite im Standarddesign anzeigen : deamons starten nicht automatisch
hallo,
ich habe das problem das manche deamons nicht starten obwohl sie mit yast für level 3 & 5 konfiguriert sind. von hand starten klappt. es handelt sich um:
apache
inetd
postfix
cron
bitte um unterstützung

schreib einfach einen Softlink in den entsprechenden Run-Level, dann sollte es funzen.
für SuSE 8.2 z.B.
ln -s /etc/rc.d/apache2 /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S17apache2
(zum starten eines Dämons)
ln -s /etc/rc.d/apache2 /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/K17apache2
Das sollte klappen.

wo ist der unterschied zwischen den S17apache oder K17apache
und muß ich das dann auch mit rc5.d für runlevel 5 machen?
gibt es eine antwort darauf das es im yast nicht geht. obwohl die im runlevel stehen.

Nimm chkconfig:
chkconfig --add apache
chkconfig -s apache 35
S --> Start
K --> Stop
runlevel sind beschrieben in /etc/inittab
# runlevel 0 is System halt (Do not use this for initdefault!)
# runlevel 1 is Single user mode
# runlevel 2 is Local multiuser without remote network (e.g. NFS)
# runlevel 3 is Full multiuser with network
# runlevel 4 is Not used
# runlevel 5 is Full multiuser with network and xdm
# runlevel 6 is System reboot (Do not use this for initdefault!)
