Hi! Ich hab ne ATI Rage 128
Will aber net laufen. also gar net ich kann ner ins x fahren ich hab suse7.2 hab xfree4.1.0 installiert kernel agpgart modul und dri module r128 sind geladen wenn ich sax2 eingebe kommt nichts. hab ne andre XF86config genommen und angepasst geht trotzdem net hier die ausgabe von startx und meine XF86config:

dann mach doch einfach xf86config!

du musst dann nur eine ATI karte auswählen und dann in der /etc/X11/XF86Config als device "r128" angeben. fertig ;)

hab ich geht nix gar nix!
mit xfree3.3.6 und sax gehts wenn ich den r128 treiber nehme aber ich will xfree4.1.0

bei mir gehts ohne probleme. hab xf410 selbstkompiliert etc und alles funzt.
geh doch mal weg von dem sax-gesochs.

ich hab xfree4.1.0 von den binaries installiert dann hab ich sax2 gestartet kamm gar nix also hab ich mir meine xf86config mit xf86setup erstellt so und wenn ich jetzt startx mache kommt das:

sieht fast so aus, als ob du garkeine ati rage 128 hättest ;) schau noch mal nach. eigentlich sollte es _problemlos_!! laúfen.
