Ich saug auch gerade. Mann, da bin ich aber gespannt, ob Kano es mit Kanotix und seinen Skripten hinbekommt, mir ein funzendes Sid mit XFree 4.3 und EEEEEEENDLICH brauchbarer 3D-Beschleunigung für meine (Achtung!) 128 MB Radeon 9200SE mit (Tatatatam!) 8x AGP auf einem (Aufpassen!) KT600-Board *rofl*. Das ist auf nem ordinären Debian Sid nämlich nicht wirklich möglich... (Stichworte fglrx, kernel-sourcen, agpgart usw.pp.)

Hm, Bild ist natürlich okay, aber ich habe bei glxgears äußerst bescheidene 500 FPS und damit kann man nicht mal Chromium oder Tuxracer spielen... *heul*

Ich saug jetzt schön weiter, kicke meine beiden Test-MDKs von der Platte und mach mir ein deftiges Kanotix heiß! ;)

Ist da jetzt eigentlich schon ein HD-Installer mit dabei? Und funzen die Skripte von Kano's Seite eigentlich für Kanotix (dort steht nur, dass das Skripte für Knoppix sind).
Falls jemand schon ein HD-Install gemacht hat (und vielleicht auch noch so ne "exotische" Hardware wie ich hat), würde ich mich über ein Feedback wirklich freuen...

Also ich habe keine exotische Hardware, aber die skrip`s funktionieren auch in mepis debian
und der kanotix-installer ist für hd install optimiert und läuft auch.
Das schöne ist das bei kanotix und Mepis sogar meine digicam Rico Caplio PR30 sofort erkannt wird und ich jetzt alles nutzen kann wie damals bei win.

Was mir bei Mepis besser gefällt ist das der nvidia bzw ati Treiber gleich mit installt wird!
