Ich versuche einen Kernel für mein Toshiba Satellite 2060CDS zu kompilieren. Wenn ich Knoppix starte, habe ich keine probs, d.h. die Hardware scheint linux fähig zu sein.
Es tritt immer der folgende Fehler auf, wenn ich den Kernel mit grub boote:

Intel PCIC probe: not found.

Den Vorschlag in der Fehlermeldung habe ich ausprobiert, sowohl in der grub.conf, als auch im Kernel in dem ich pci auf [BIOS] gesetzt habe. Leider brachte das keinen Erfolg.

Nach einigen Forschungen habe ich herausgefunden, was in meinem Notebook steckt:

Also habe ich nachgeguckt, ob ich denn auch den Intel 82365 angeschmissen hab, leider war der auch schon drin.

Ich habe mir schon RedHat gesaugt, damit ich n Standard kernel benutzen kann, aber eigentlich würde ich gerne Gentoo benutzen und dort brauche ich n eigenen kernel (was erzähle ich, das wisst Ihr ja).

Wäre super wenn Euch dazu was einfällt.
