Hi,

ich habe grade versucht den Bochs von Hand zu Compilieren, leider gibts immer Fehler und das Bochs Forum sagt nichts dazu, bzw. ich konnte nichts dazu finden. Auch hier im Forum war nur ein Beitrag der aber aufs Bochs Forum wieder verwies. Habe es nach Anleitung von stefan.becker gemacht hier im Forum.

Es handelt sich dabei um den Tarball Version 2.0.2 von Sourcforge.

Versuch mal configure ohne "enable-wx"

wenn ich das mache, kann ich auch das rpm installieren. ich compilier das ja GENAU DESWEGEN damit ich weiter fortfahren kann wie in deinem tutorial :D

Solange wxWindows nicht installiert ist, kannst du auch nicht bochs damit installieren.

Hi,

danke für den Hinweis, irgendwie hab ich das wohl übersehen. Ich habe mir von www.wxwindows.org folgende Dateien gezogen und installiert (ohne Fehler oder Probleme)
- wxGTK-2.4.2-1mdk.i586.rpm
- wxGTK-devel-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm
- wxGTK-gl-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm
- wxGTK-static-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm

Nun ist zumindest ein Teil der Fehler behoben.
Nun steht nach dem Compile dort:

probier mal mit --enable-cpu-level=5, mit 6 gehts bei mir auch nicht.

Schau noch mal ins LOG, da fehlt noch immer was, anscheinend sowas wie "gtk-devel".

in welches log? aber das wxgtk-devel hab ich doch installiert *schnief* :)
verflixt und zugenäht :)

Versuchs doch erstmal ohne wx, um sicherzustellen, ob es überhaupt geht.

so ich habs mal abgespeckt, selbst das klappt nicht und gibt denselben fehler aus:

./configure --prefix=/usr --with-x11 --enable-sb16=linux --enable-cdrom --enable-3dnow --enable-mmx --enable-icache --enable-repeat-speedups

Das funzt auch nicht:

Edit3:
nichtmal ein reines ./configure geht, sondern gibt denselben fehler aus.
das rpm davon lief allerdings einwandfrei jedoch ohne wx, daher hab ich es deinstalliert und wollte halt jetzt den source selber compilieren.

ich saug mir mal ne andere version und versuchs damit.

tjo, das sieht alles sehr schlecht aus. auch bochs 2.0.1 (tar.gz) lässt sich nicht compilieren. gibt dieselben fehler aus. grmpf, ich installier mir gleich wieder das rpm und verzichte dann lieber auf wx & co obwohl selbst compiliert ja sicher schon geiler laufen würde :(

also ich hab mir echt den hintern wund gesucht aber nirgends gibts dazu was, nichtmal google hilft :eek:
