hi

hab mir das programm lineakd installiert, funtz auch super. möchte aber gerne das es automatisch beim booten gestartet wird. hab schon in die boot.local eingetragen. einmal mit pfad und einmal ohne pfad. bei beiden versuchen kein erfolg. kann mir einer nen tip geben wie ich das problem löse???? [OS: SuSE8.2]

zum Starten mußt Du es in die ~/.xsession der Benutzer eintragen, die es verwenden wollen.

Auszug aus der README:
## Installation instructions:

- download the lineakd-x.x.tar.gz into your homedir
- unpack the source (eg. "tar zxvf lineakd-x.x.tar.gz")
- cd into the directory (eg. "cd lineakd-x.x" )
- run "./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc"
- run "make"
- as root run "make install"

(change back to your normal user)
run 'lineakd -c' to create a standard configuration file
( $HOME/.lineak/lineakd.conf )

run 'lineakd -l' to see a list of available keyboards.

either change KeyboardType in the configuration file to your desired
keyboard, or add the option '-k TYPE' to the line below:

add '/usr/bin/lineakd &' to ~/.xsession if you use XSession
or put it in the list of 'startup programs' of your Window Manager
(i.e. Gnome or KDE)

lineak greift auf die Tastaturunterstützung von XFree zurück. Daher kann es nur in Verbindung mit XFree oder bei laufendem XFree gestartet werden.
Beim Ausführen der boot.local ist aber noch kein XFree gestartet.

danke erst ma.

war mir schon klar das es nur unter´nem xserver lauft. da es in der konsole nicht funtzt. mußte nur nicht wo man programme, nach dem xserver start, startet. im suse handbuch hab ich leider nichts gefunden.
