Xinelib rc2 ... und es geht weiter :)

Seit dem 26.10 ist nun Xine rc2 raus und der "MPlayer Konkurrent" wird immer besser.

Erstmals spielt Xine auch problemlos MVCDs bzw .dat Dateien ab!
Das war bis zur rc1 ohne weiteres nicht möglich!

Ausserdem wurden wieder ein paar neue TVTime Deinterlace Filter eingebaut :)

Als GUI empfehle ich mal "Totem". Der Player liegt mittlerweile in Version 0.99.7 vor. Er basiert auf GTK2.0.



Totem is movie player for the Gnome desktop based on xine. It features a playlist, a full-screen mode, seek and volume controls, as well as a pretty complete keyboard navigation.

It comes with added functionality such as:

* Video thumbnailer for GNOME
* Webcam utility
* Nautilus properties tab


Die Video-Thumbnails funktioneren wie die Thumbnails bei normalen Bildern. (siehe auch meinen Screenshot)

Kurz gesagt mein Eindruck: Einfache und unkomplizierte Bedienung gepaart mit den Features der Xine-Libs.

meines wissens geht dasd nur mit dem Mplayer
wes wgenen ich beider player auf meinem system habe (mplayer spielt bei mir die Realplayer formate nicht richtig ab !)

Moin,
falls wer den nv-tv-out in Xine vermisst, der ist umgezogen, der befindet sich jetzt in der Xine-ui. Allerdings ist er bis jetzt nur im CVS vorhanden und funktioniert, mit Einschränkungen , ganz gut.
Haken an der Sache ist, das man nv-tv-out dazu aus dem CVS ziehen muss, da Xine dazu die nvtvsimplelib braucht. Diese muss dann auch extra gebaut werden, und befindet sich in lib/.
Achtung bitte mit Prefix installieren und zwar dort, wo pkg-config installiert ist, sonst gibt es probleme mit der Xine-ui beim detekten ob die nvtvsimplelib vorhanden ist.
Wenn das dann alles geschafft ist sollte man man zuerst nvtvd als root starten, und dann Xine so starten:

xine -T nvtv

Dann blinkt es mal kurz, und schon kann man mit der f Taste auf den TV umschalten.
Nachteil bisjetzt ist, das sich (fast) alle Anwendungen an die neue Auflösung anpassen, und sich in einen schönen 800x600 Fenster versammeln, das heist, das man nach der TV Sitzung seine Gkrellms, Gaims, Xchats, usw. wieder in die alte Position schieben muss.
Ich hab es bisher nur unter XFCE4 getestet, und das einzige was an Ort und Stelle geblieben ist, sind die Gdesklets.

Hint:
Wenn das kompilieren aus dem CVS von nvtv nicht funktionieren sollte, einfach

aclocal
autoheader
automake --gnu --add-missing --copy
autoconf
Danach sollte das kompilieren ohne Probleme von statten gehen.

Es gibt auch eine Unterstützung für atitvout, damit konnte ich aber keinerlei Erfahrungen sammeln, aber es soll auf dem Gator Projekt basieren, wer mehr wissen will, soll sich mal den CVS von Xine näher angucken.
Dokumentation ist zur Zeit irgendwie gar nicht vorhanden.
