Stronghold/Crusader Installer (WINE!)

Hi,

Alle bekannten Fehler wurden entfernt und beide Installer sollten jetzt problemlos laufen.

hi,

ich hab mi direkt das den stronghold installer gezogen muss aber leider sagen das er nicht funktioniert :( aber nicht setotrotz sieht richtig gut aus.
hier ist die ausgabe vom terminal:

ich konnte leider nicht herausbekommen warum er die dateien nicht finden kann. weder im tmp noch auf der cd sind die datein direkt zufinden. wie kann man eigentlich die cab-dateine öffnen ??
habe ich das richtig gesehen, ich bauch kein installiertes winex oder wine um stronghold zu spielen, das bringt ihr direkt mit ??

es gibt nen tool "i6comp" das entpackt die cab dateien und wird auch vom installer genutzt bzw ist enthalten, wine wird für die installation mitgeliefert oder wenn vorhanden nutzt es dein wine, zum spiele musst du es aber installiert haben... könntest du mal die verzeichnisstruktur von der cd pasten? bzw wo die cabfiles liegen? evtl ne andere version wie die die ich habe. und starte mal mal bitte den installer mit --keep dann entpackt er die dateien und behält sie auf der platte dann kannst du schauen ob er die cab nicht findet oder sie nicht entpackt usw..

das gleiche problem hatte ein anderer tester halt auch.. nur ist schwer das problem zu finden da es bei mir läuft ;)

ehem..ich bin bissel noobisch;)...und somit der ideale tester^^
hab grad die Datei downgeloadet..aber was mach ich nun damit?...hab mal draufgeklickt..tut sich aber nix...
jetzt wartet meine Stronghold CD umsonst im Laufwerk:))..bitte hilf mir auf die Sprünge

EIDT: sorry, habs rausbekommen..war ja auch nich wirklich schwer..ehem:)...is schonma angelaufen.,..aber irgendwie bleibt der Balken der Gesamtinstallation bei 0 stehen:(
CD is kurz angelaufen...

starte sie mal im xterm oder so mit "sh stronghold.sh" dann sollte sich der installer öffnen..

Kann /home/iCErAIN/stronghold: Die Datei existiert bereits nicht erzeugen <-kannst das mal löschen und nochmal testen oder woanders installieren? wie lange wartest du denn? kann schonmal sein das das etwas dauert bis er die cd gefunden hat..

also ich hatte es schon mal gelöscht gehabt...gewartet hab ich ca 3min
werds jetzt mal woanders hin hauen...

hmm ob mein Fehler war das ich net root war?...die Installroutine sieht jetzt ganz anders aus..wie unter DOS damals^^
hmm er tütelt aufm CDRom rum..scheint also was zu machen..nen Fortschritt seh ich allerdings nicht...
Führe Script aus is bei 100% mehr seh ich allerdings hier auf dem Bildschirm nicht...

3min später...nichts tut sich..er tütelt weiter aufm CDRom rum, aber keinerlei Fortschritt zu entdecken..ich glaub ich brech ab:(..schade

EDIT:LOL..gut das ich noch weitere 2min gewartet hab...
dann kam: unable to finf file "default.pall"
aber jetzt scheint es fröhlich loszugehen...

brech mal nicht so schnell ab, das was so lange dauert kann das entpacken der cabdateien sein.. der fortschrittsbalken regaiert afair nur beim kopieren der dateien danach... root musst du nicht sein solang du schreibrechte im installationsverzeichnis hast.

soo also der Tip mit dem Root war zu spät..habs als root nach:
file:/usr/local/games/stronghold
installiert...wenn ich jetzt mit wine stronghold oder durch anklicken die exe starten will kommt die Meldung:
Entfernen Sie den Debugger und versuchen sie es erneut..hmm...was hab ich nun wieder falsch gemacht???

also die installation verlief problemlos??? das wird dann ein problem mit deiner wine config sein denke ich mal, gibts sonst keine fehlermeldung die ein wenig mehr verrät?

jo installation verlief supi..wird auch n wine prob sein..bin wohl zu doof das richtig einzustellen..mach ich jetzt auch nich mehr..will heute abend eh mit suse9 neu installieren.

Zum einen wird default.pall nicht gefunden (evtl. default.pal?) und das Update scheint auch nicht zu funzen. Ich denke das update1.02.tar.gz darf nicht im setup.data Verzeichnis stehen, sondern im "root" des setup-verzeichnisses. Achja, ist nicht 1.2 ist aktuell?

Ansonsten läuft Stronghold schon ganz gut!

hmm was auch richtig ist, seltsam das es dann bei einigen läuft und bei anderen nicht, das mit dem patch werd ich wenn andere fehler gefunden wurden beheben und ja muss .pal heißen.. wohl übersehen ;)

@tonmeister: kann es evtl sein das dein tmp dir nicht groß genug ist? du brauchst dort 760mb für die installation

Die Installation an sich klappt. Wenn ich jetzt jedoch crusader ausführe, greift er aufs CD-Laufwerk zu, liest ein paar Sekunden und danach bin ich wieder auf der Shell :rolleyes:

EDIT: Lag wohl am Kopierschutz...

EDIT2: *freu* Läuft perfekt! So macht Linux Spass :D
