Soundkarten erkennung ?

Hi ich hab ein kleines Problem ich hab von nem kolegen ein Laptop gekauft auf dem ich dann Suse 8.2 instalirt habe da das nicht so toll mit 32mb ram lief habe ich mir Mandrake 9.1 instalirt nun hab ich aber das Problem das die Soundkarte nicht erkant wird ich weis leider auch nicht welche karte verbaut ist gibt es da ne möglichkeit irgentwie rauszufinden welche karte verbaut ist harddrake schmeist leider nichts aus ?



P.s ich wolte nur mahl anmerken das die faqs im forum echt klasse sind ich habe darduch schon viele lösungen gefunden die jetzt echt gut funktioniren z.b. divx unter linux die wine konfiguration und vieles anderes.

Bei solchen Fragen ist 'dmesg' immer eine gute Anlaufstelle.

Du solltest dir die aktuellen Kernel-Sourcen von www.kernel.org herunterladen.
Diese nach /usr/src kopieren, einen symbolischen Link auf linux erstellen und dann noch einmal probieren Alsa zu installieren.

BTW: Das hier http://holarse.wue.de/index.php?content=treiber_alsa ist ein sehr gutes How-To zu Alsa. Solltest du dir einmal ansehen.
