Hallo!

Samba und Cups laufen soweit problemlos auf meiner Linux-Kiste. Das Problem ist die Druckerkonfiguration, sodass der Drucker auch auf Windows-Clients zu sehen und benutzen ist. Mit lpr war das bisher kein Problem.
Mit Swat und Webmin habe ich schon diverse Konfigurationen getestet, aber der Drucker erscheint trotzdem nicht in der Netzwerkumgebung (weder unter Windows noch mit LinNeighborhood etc.)

Hi,

eine Sektion
[printer]
solltes du in deiner smb.conf schon vorsehen, oder Sektionen fuer einzelne Drucker, z.B. so:

[bro1250]
guest ok = yes
guest only = no
browseable = yes
printable = yes
printer = bro1250
path = /tmp
