This release of Sylpheed-Claws is based on version 0.9.6 of the
main Sylpheed branch.
Notes for this release:
Filtering Keyword change ** WARNING **
The filtering Condition keyword 'execute' has been changed to
'test'. All users who are using a Filtering rule containing the
Condition keyword 'execute' must change it to 'test' before
launching 0.9.6claws, but this change can only be done by editing
~/.sylpheed/matcherrc directly with a text editor and not through
the GUI.
If you don't edit matcherrc before launching 0.9.6claws your rule
containing 'execute' will be deleted.
Removal of Common Preferences options
Receive tab: Local Spool settings removed
Send tab: External Program settings removed
If you want to receive mail from the local spool and/or send mail
using an external program you must create and use a Local account
The Font configuration options have been moved to
/Configuration/Other Preferences/Display/Fonts
New in this release:
allow 'filtering actions' in Actions, e.g. '%as{mark color 2}'
GnuPG: on a signature check, when the key exists, the Key ID is
printed
When using 'Redirect' the Folder Preference 'Save copy of outgoing
messages to this folder instead of Sent' is obeyed
tools/vcard2xml.py
a new script that converts an Evolution vCard into a Sylpheed
address book
a new Simplified Chinese translation has been added
updated translations: British English, Croatian, French, German,
Polish, Spanish, Serbian, and Slovak
Bug fixes, including the following:
o bug 64 'Problem when sending to many recipients'
o bug 246 'Multiple selections are deselected when moving
from search window to main window'
o bug 298 'message view loses tool bar'
o bug 305 'crash after deleting of a newsgroup'
o IMAP: folder occasionally unscanned bug
o Clam AntiVirus plugin: GnuPG passphrase popup bug
o Clam AntiVirus plugin: nested multipart goes unscanned bug
o tools/maildir2sylpheed.pl: deep directory recursion bug
