swat startet nicht im Browser bei Suse8.2 und samba

Hallo,

Habe nach einer Anleitung folgende Pakete installiert:

hauptrechner:/home/bernd/Software+170803 # rpm -ivh samba-2.2.7a-78.i586.rpm samba-client-2.2.7a-78.i586.rpm
samba ##################################################
Starting SuSEconfig, the SuSE Configuration Tool...
Running module samba only
Reading /etc/sysconfig and updating the system...
Module samba does not exist

samba-client ##################################################
Updating etc/sysconfig/samba...
Starting SuSEconfig, the SuSE Configuration Tool...
Running module samba only
Reading /etc/sysconfig and updating the system...
Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.samba...
Finished.

/etc/inetd.conf
# swat is the Samba Web Administration Tool
swat stream tcp nowait.400 root
/usr/sbin/swat swat

Und folgende Dienste sind gestartet:

hauptrechner:/etc # rcnfsserver start
Starting kernel based NFS server done
hauptrechner:/etc # /etc/init.d/xinetd start
Starting INET services. (xinetd) done

Im Browser-Addressfenster habe ich folgendes eingegeben:

http://172.16.0.141:901
http://localhost:901
und die Adresse aus meinem Buch
http://192.168.1.2:901

mein Rechner hat die IP Adresse 172.16.0.141:901

weiß jemand, ob ich vielleicht noch einen Dienst nicht gestartet habe?

Das SWAT Konfigurationstool erscheint bei mir nicht im Browser.

Hi,

SWAT-Probleme hatten wir hier immer wieder. Hat die Suchfunktion nichts gebracht? Die Ursachen können vielfältig sein:

- Firewall
- Proxy
- inetd nicht gestartet bzw. Fehler beim Start
- falsche Samba-Konfiguration
