imwheel problem!?

hab ne ms intelli mouse optical am ps/2 und das mausrad funkt nich (wie hier ja schon oefter beschrieben); wenn ich jezz imwheel starten will kommt:

Could not open display, check shell DISPLAY variable, and export or setenv it!



any suggestions? bin uebrigens unter gentoo und kde 3.1.2...

okay hab grad tuxracer starten wollen:

root@localhost local # /usr/games/bin/tuxracer
Tux Racer 0.61
#blablabla
... details.

probier mal die Programme als user und nicht als root zu starten ;)

yup, ging dann auch, hab noch xhost +127.0.0.1 gemacht und in die .xinitrc eingefuegt, dann ging alles... danke aber :D
