    FTP Benutzer mit bestimmten Namen lässt sich nicht erstellen

    Hallo

    ich möchte einen ftp Server erstellen.
    Das hat auch vor Jahren schon einmal geklappt. Bis zum Festplatten defekt war alles wunderbar.
    Nun haben mehrere clients den Benutzer sky konfiguriert nur ich bekomme diesen Benutzer nicht mehr so angelegt das man per ftp zugriff bekommt.
    Ich habe den Benutzer mit useradd sky -d /home/sky -s /bin/bash angelegt. Der Versuch per filezilla mit den Benutzer zu zu greifen wird mit der Fehlermeldung Login incorrect abgelehnt.
    Andere Nutzer die ich auch so angelegt habe funktionieren.
    Daraufhin habe ich mich erinnert das man mit Webmin Benutzer clonen kann. Das hat nicht geholfen.
    Den Benutzer sky habe ich nur mit userdel sky gelöscht. Muss ich den wo anders auch noch löschen?
    Den Benutzer tomi den ich mit dem gleiche Befehl angelegt habe ist in keiner Gruppe, aber er funktioniert.
    An der Standart konfiguration von Proftp habe ich nur DefaultRoot ~ geändert

    Jemand noch eine Idee? Oder noch Fragen?
    Ich würde mich sehr freuen wenn mir jemand hilft.

    Guck doch einfach mal in deiner Config nach .log... da findest du einiges....

    Wenn alle anderen User gehen liegts vielleicht auch an Sonderzeichen? Bei manchen Diensten ist auch ein 3 Zeichen Username zu wenig.

    Mal so aus dem Bauch heraus gesagt.

    Der sky Benutzer war in /etc/ftpuser. Warum auch immer. Die Benutzer die da nicht drin waren haben funktioniert. Nach der Löschung ging auch der Benutzer sky
