Hallo Zusammen
Ich muss gestehen, habe die gleiche Anfrage bereit in ein anderes Forum gestellt. Da kam aber wenig Resonanz zurück und es antwortet auch niemand mehr. Deswegen erlaube ich mir die Frage auch hier zu stellen:
Ich habe auf meinem CentOS-Root-Server zwei zusätzliche Festplatten installieren lassen. Wobei "installieren" das falsche Wort ist. Man hat sie einfach reingesteckt.
Danach habe ich die Partitionierung im Filesystem ext2 gemacht. Soweit alles OK.
Neue Konfiguration:
2x 500 GB
2x 2'000 GB
Wenn ich nun unter Plesk (V10) die Serverinformationen anschaue, sehe ich folgendes:

Platten werden erkannt. Ich kenn mich in Plesk aber nicht so gut aus, vermute aber, dass ich die Platten gar nicht nutzen kann um z.B. Daten über FTP Daten abzuspeichern.
Fragen:
- Kann ich die Platten nutzen über FTP?
- Wenn nein: Wie kann ich die neuen Platten als zusätzlchen Speicherplatz zu sda2 nutzen?

Im anderen Forum wurde ich auf die fehlende RAID-Config angesprochen. Das ist auch richtig und mir bewusst, dass die aktuelle Config riskant ist. Es beantwortet jedoch nicht meine Frage.
