    shutdown nur über konsole möglich

    Hallo,

    kann mir jemand sagen, auf welche Befehle der Ausschalt-Button unter Kubuntu programmiert ist und wie ich diese ändern kann?
    Seit dem Update auf 12.04. kann ich meinen Rechner nur noch per Konsole (sudo shutdown -h now) herunterfahren. Über das Menü (Verlassen-Herunterfahren) hängt sich das System jedesmal auf (KDE-Zahnrad mit den lustigen Punkten darunter).

    Was sagen denn die Logs zu diesem Zeitpunkt?

    Vermutlich wird KDE auch halt oder shutdown ausführen.

    Bei Suse 12.1 habe ich auch kleine Probleme mit Ausschalten. Hat aber mit KDE gar nichts zu tun, da die betreffende Installation ohne grafische Oberfläche ist, nur Konsole.
    Also Power-Knopf reagiert gar nicht.
    Der Befehl "halt" fährt das System runter, der Rechner geht aber am Ende nicht aus, nur die Festplatten gehen aus, Netzteil und Lüfter laufen weiter, Anzeige auf dem Monitor bleibt auch. Power-Knopf paar Sekunden gedrückt halten, schaltet dann natürlich aus.
    Der Befehl "init 0" fährt das System runter und schaltet den Rechner am Ende auch aus.

    Als auf dem Rechner noch Suse 11.4 drauf war, hat alles richtig funktioniert.

    Hab das ganze jetzt nochmal mit halt und init 0 versucht.
    init 0 scheint den gleichen effekt zu haben wie shutdown -h, also Rechner fährt normal runter.
    halt endet bei mir genauso wie von ede beschrieben, also der gleiche Effekt wie über das Menü. Scheint also so zu sein, das beim ausschalten über das Menü halt ausgeführt wird.
    Wäre jetzt nur noch gut zu wissen, wo und wie man das ändern kann.

    hat keiner eine Idee, wie bzw. wo man den Befehl für das Herunterfahren im Menü ändern kann?

    Bis es eine offizielle Lösung gibt, würde ich an eurer stelle einfach halt ersetzen, kleines Script an die Stelle und fertig.

    genau so hat es funktioniert. Habe dort an Stelle des halt-Befehls jetzt shutdown eingetragen.
