Sage mal, funktioniert der Server in Aachen gut?
Unter RedHat 9 habe ich den schon gar nicht mehr benutzt, weil er öfters nicht erreichbar war, und wenn, dann saulangsam.

Zur Schnelligkeit/Erreichbarkeit: Das ist zumindest meine Vorgehensweise, wenn ich das testen möchte. Zuerst ein ping, und dann mal so ein paar Probedownloads von ein paar 2+x MB großen Paketen.
Falls jemand einen effizienteren Weg kennt, wäre ich um einen Tip dankbar.
