openSuSI Leap 42.2 - Client friert ein

BS: openSuSI Leap 42.2 (aktueller Patchlevel)
Folgendes Problem: Ich habe hier drei Installationen, die in meinem Heimnetz laufen, alle unter openSuSI Leap 42.2. Eine davon ist meine TV-Station, auf der nebenbei zattoo laeuft (im Moment F1 in Spa). Die anderen zwei Maschinen laufen auch. Alle haben das gleiche Patchlevel. Meine TV-Station zeigt als einzige ein besonderes Verhalten. Immer nachmittags am Wochenende (bisher 15:15 Uhr oder heute 13:06 Uhr) setzt eine grosse Aktivitaet ein, die das laufende TV-Programm und auch die ganze Kiste dermassen belastet, dass ein interaktiver Zugriff nicht mehr moeglich ist. Man hoert die Disk auf der HD permanent "kratzen" (AKA swappen). Ein Cronjob kann es nicht sein, denn ich habe dort mittels

"systemctl stop cron.service"
alle cronjobs deaktiviert. Ob dies auch an Wochentagen auftritt, kann ich nicht sagen, da ich dann "auf Arbeit" bin.
Ich habe heute auf dieser WS permanent alle 60sec. ein laufen lassen, weil ich ja keine Befehle mehr eingeben kann, wenn "das Ereignis" eintritt (natuerlich mit Output in ein File).

In einem solchen Fall hilft nur ein brutaler Hard-Reset(Power-Off). Danach startet alles wieder ganz normal ohne etwelche Fehlermeldungen.
Hat jemand eine Idee, wo ich suchen koennte? Eine Nueinstallation waere kein Problem, denn ich brauche diese Station wirklich nur fuer zattoo.
