Changes: A workaround for a problem with corrupted share databases was added along with a notification for incomplete configurations. A subtle race condition between starting transfers and getting a list of privileged users was fixed. It's now possible to give download privileges to users from the user list. Search responses are now buffered, causing less flicker and stress on the client. If a log window is collapsed, messages are now duplicated in the status bar. It's now possible to track status changes for the individual users from the user list.


SoulSeek ist ein Filesharing Protokoll und PySoulSeek ist ein auf wxPython beruhender Client dafür. Das besondere ist, das sich hier erheblich mehr an Musik finden lässt als bei Gnutella oder FastTrack.

Wer also nach Musik sucht, der sollte sich das auf jeden Fall mal installieren.

hat jemand pyslsk 1.2.4 mit python 2.3 am laufen? ich bekomme nur ein

und das wars. mit python 2.2.1 funktioniert es ohne probleme.

Läuft bei mir astrein Unter Python 2.3. Vor allem der Aufbau der GUI ist spürbar schneller.

Hast du wxPython vieleicht mit der falschen Python Version übersetzt, oder eventuell gar nicht erst neu compiliert ?

Also ich hab noch Python 2.2.1 und die GUI ist schnell und läuft ohne Probleme.

und was machen die debian woody benutzer ? selbst mit einigen backports bringe ich das programm nicht zum laufen, denn mir fehlt python in der richtigen version.
soll mann da python händisch kompilieren ? gibt das keine weiteren dependencies-konflikte ?

ansonsten ist es ja so, dass die 1.2.4 die letzte version von pyslsk ist. habe mir mal nicotine 1.0.1 angeschaut. basiert ja auf pyslsk und läuft mit python 2.3. hat zwar noch so ein paar fehler aber das wird sicher schon noch was werden!
