Terratec XleratePro mit OSS ?

Hallo!

Ich habe die schöne Suse 6.3 und sie will nicht mit mir plaudern!
Wieso?
Ich habe versucht meine Terratec XleratePro mit OSS zu installieren, bekomme bei der Installation von OSS nur eine Fehlermeldung:

Error: Your kernel seems to be configured without loadable module versioning.
Please recompile the kernel with CONFIG_MODVERSIONS option enabled. This option
can be enabled by answering the following question:
"Set version information on all symbols for modules"

Soll ich jetzt irgendwie den Kernel neu kompilieren?
Das hört sich für einen Linuxanfänger sehr riskant an!

Ach ja, noch was
Schau mal nach, ob Du OSS für Single Prozessor Kernel installiert hast (Ich vermute mal, bei Dir ist nur ein Prozessor auf dem Board).
