Hi,
ich versuche einen Dialinserver mit SuSE 7.2 zu basteln. Die Einwahl per ISDN funktioniert bestens. Nur das Modem will nicht. Ich bekomme in der /var/log/messages folgenden Eintrag:
Jun 18 11:58:13 XXXX pppd[377]: The remote system is required to authenticate itself
Jun 18 11:58:13 XXXX pppd[377]: but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for it to use to do so.
Jun 18 11:58:13 XXXX pppd[377]: (None of the available passwords would let it use an IP address.)
Es sieht so aus, als ob mir bei der Einwahl keine caller_id übermittelt wird. Einträge in /var/log/mgetty.modem sehen so aus:
06/18 11:58:13 ##### data dev=modem, pid=377, caller='none', conn='38400/V32b 14400/V42b', name='', cmd='/usr/sbin/pppd', user='/AutoPPP/'
06/18 11:58:13 dem setenv: 'CALLER_ID=none'
06/18 11:58:13 dem setenv: 'CALLED_ID='
06/18 11:58:13 dem setenv: 'CONNECT=38400/V32b 14400/V42b'
Hat jemand einen Tip für mich ?
