no acceptable C compiler found!?

Hallo liebe Fachleute!
Habe mir mit Erfolg KDE 3.1 installiert. - Nun bekomme ich bei ./configure ... oben genannte Meldung! - Welchen Compiler bzw. Paket muss ich noch installieren, damit er nicht mehr meckert?

Wichtige INformationen wären gewesen, welches Programm du versuchst zu kompilieren, + Komplette Fehlermeldung.
Aber ich denke du brauchst gcc und das C++ Paket dafür; evtl g++

... dann make nicht vergessen und überhaupt die ganzen Entwicklerteile der Bibliotheken (*-dev)
SuSE installiert das nicht bei einer Office -Standard Installation, muss alles nachinstalliert werden.

Mittlerweile bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldungen beim Versuch libdv zu kompilieren:
