Hallo erstmal super Forum hier.
Also mein Prob ist wenn ich meine Graka installieren und konfiguriern will egal ob manuell oder per Autoupdate wird mein Xserver abgeschossen.Die Sache ist die in der Config muß ich doch immer den Eintrag nv in nvidia ändern und Load "glx" hinzufügen,das mache ich auch.So dann folgt ein XServer Neustart danch hab ich nur noch schwarzen bilschirm und der rechner hat sich aufgehängt.Hatte aber es schon mal am laufen mit installierten Treiber

PS:hatte mich auch durch die ca.80 seiten gelesen die die Suche ergab

den Kerneltreiber von NVidea hast Du installiert mittels Yast2 ???

NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-4191.suse80.i386.rpm so hieß das paket und ich habe da einfach draufgeklickt und per *.rpm installiert

Hatte auch ein Problem mit den Nvida rpm's

beim mir kam der Fehler bei dem ausführen von sax2

Kernel Module konnten nicht geladen werden :(

hab die orginal rpm's von der Suse Cd installiert

und dann die rpm's von Nvida upgegradet.
