Voodoo 3 3500 will nicht

ich habe ne Vooodoo 3 3500TV unter Mandrake 9.0 laufen....

ganz normale grafische oberfläche funktioniert einwandfrei, nur Glide nicht!

ich hab mir von http://holarse.wue.de/index.php?content=treiber_3dfx folgende rpms gezogen:

Glide_SDK-2.2-16.i386.rpm
Glide_V3-2.60-16.i386.rpm
Glide_V3-DRI-3.10-6.i386.rpm

und installiert....

alle anderen Glide sachen hab ich vorher deinstalliert(die die bei mdk dabei waren).
meine /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 sieht folgendermaßen aus:

in der section "Module" hab ich alle anderen kommentiert... gut oder eher nicht?
tuxracer ruckelt wie ne diashow....

ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen...

woher weißt du denn das?
(ich nehm mal an: UT/Rune/xxx geht nur im OpenGL oder Software-Renderer Modus.)

Das ist ganz klar: wenn man DRI aktiviert, dann funktioniert Glide 3 nur noch innerhalb von DRI, ist also für Anwendungen nicht mehr direkt verfügbar. (steht irgendwo auf der DRI-Webseite)

Wenn es unbedingt sein muß:
Möglicherweise hilft es, wenn du DRI deaktivierst und die Anwendung als root startest bzw. das alte 3dfx Kernelmodul lädst (keine Ahnung wo man das heute noch herbekommen könnte).
