mozilla 1.2b: No package 'xft' found

Hallo,

ich bekomme eine Fehlermeldung wenn ich mozilla 1.2b mit xft Unterstützung konfigurieren will.


checking for xft... Package xft was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `xft.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

xft.pc, wie oder wo bekomme ich die?

das gleiche Problem hab ich jetzt auch mit Mozilla 1.2, er sucht eine Datei xft.pc die es bei mir auf dem System aber nicht gibt. Ich hab bei meiner SuSE auch kein Paket ausser gdkxft gefunden, das noch xft im Namen hätte. Hat jemand ne Idee?

xft gehört AFAIR zum X-System (also vielleicht X-devel Pakete einspielen).

hi !
soweit ich weiß brauch man xft-2 für die neueren Versionen von mozilla.
das gehört im moment wohl noch nicht zur aktuellen xfree - version und du musst dir das hier (http://www.fontconfig.org/) runterladen.
