auto X trotz init:3

Hallo Leute ... ich hab da ein grosses Problem und zwar startet mir der X-server mit xdm trotz init:3 in /etc/inittab
Was kann ich dagegen tun?
Hat jemand schonmal das gleiche Prob gehabt?

Du meinst trotz "id:3:initdefault:"?

Ich vermute einfach einmal, dass init wirklich in den runlevel 3 übergeht, Du solltest Dir also das rc Verzeichnis für diesen runlevel (/etc/rc3.d ?) genauer ansehen, vermutlich ist dort ein link auf den display manager.

Dann kann ich Dir auf die Entfernung leider auch nicht weiterhelfen, es gilt herauszufinden, wo und wann kdm gestartet wird (d.h. von init, oder doch von anderswo?)...

Kein Problem ..... hab RH 8.0 gezogen und werde es auch installieren

Schau Dir mal die Datei /etc/inittb genauer an, es gibt Distributionen die den xdm von init starten lassen.
