Lüfter + CPU Athlon XP-M

Hallo,

mein Notebook - Gericom mit Athlon XP-M 2600 läuft der Lüfter die ganze Zeit auf voll Power. Ziehe ich den Stromstecker raus wird es plötzlich ruhig.
Habe Cpufreqd installiert, da powernowd bei mir nicht funktioniert.

Wo ist die Ursache, und wie kann ich sie beheben?

Welche Distri benutzt du denn? Wenn du Suse benutzt, dann ist das von haus auf so konfiguriert, dass es das Energieschema bei angeschlossenem Stromkabel auf "volle Leistung" setzt, beim Abziehen sind dann Stromsparfunktionen aktiv. Gesparter Strom == weniger Abwärme.

Ich benutze Debian Sarge. Ich hatte das auch schon mal, das es funktionierte, aber ich weiss nicht mehr wie, nach viel ausprobieren ging es irgenwann und war auch so wieder verschwunden.
